The largest telecare provider in Belgium, Télé-Secours, has successfully completed testing of their brand new Victrix digital telehealthcare platform.
They have a park which uses market-standard protocols and equipment, and a software platform from a traditional supplier which had become obsolete for their needs.
Managing Director Axel De Roover says “We have tested all functional and communication aspects of the Victrix platform, and everything has worked perfectly. We are very excited about the wide range of new digital services which the platform allows us to offer.
The Victrix team brings many years of expert knowledge from the proactive Spanish telecare market, combined with a very modern, and efficient cloud-based solution.”
Assistant Managing Director Sébastien Dandoy adds, “The support has been excellent. The Victrix team has fully engaged with our operational and technical staff, giving us a very high level of confidence. The Victrix digital telehealthcare solution is a very welcome option to a market traditionally dominated by a small number of players with limited technology”.
Joe Killen, Victrix CEO, “We are very proud to have secured the largest telecare account in Belgium. At 20,000 connections, this is a major project, and is great credit to the professionalism of our team. We have also developed a migration tool to streamline the export of data to the new system.
This is only the start, many new aspects of digital functionality are now being added at a rapid pace, and we are building a considerable lead over older market solutions, with specialist support from our strategic partner Getronics on data security. Other customers have been impressed in Belgium and will soon follow. We are already negotiating the installation of even larger platforms in Spain, France, Germany, Nordics, and the UK. This is our first step to becoming European market leader in digital telehealthcare in 2020”.
